A Journey to the Center of the Philippines

Marinduque Province is blessed with so much natural charm in addition to the many historical and cultural treasures that abound its centuries old towns and villages. But more than those and the famed Moriones Festival every Lenten Season, what really spiked my interest in this heart-shaped (not the heart shape that we as a child know of but the literal heart - the organ that beats inside our chest!) island  is its claim to be the center of the whole of the Philippines!
