Here I am now, after 6 months.
Towards the end of July, same month as my successful La Union Tour with fellow forumer HugoLeRoi of SkyScraperCity, I decided to see for myself the beauty of Aurora Province. I was not disappointed because Aurora left me in awe on the abundance of nature God has bestowed it. After just one day, I was on tour again, this time in Tarlac with other fellow forumers of SkyScraperCity : William, 296619, Tarlaqueno-ako and Santa Maria.
I finally managed to visit the provinces of Isabela and Cagayan and their amazing and massive churches for the month of August.
Then I was able to visit Quezon (Lucena, Tayabas and Lucban) and Eastern Laguna (Majayjay, Nagcarlan, San Pablo) on September.
The month of October saw me conquering four provinces of the Bicol Peninsula: Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay and Sorsogon.
And finally on November, I embarked on my 3rd wandering outside the Luzon Island, this time farther south: Mindanao Island. I frolicked in the beach of Island Garden City of Samal, and braved city hopping in Davao Region reaching Compostela Valley, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, and Davao City (and all the other cities of the region : Tagum, Panabo, Mati, Digos). I also visited Sarangani Province and General Santos City.
As the year comes to close, I am excited to check how I am faring with the challenge I have imposed upon myself. The map below, courtesy of Eugene Villar of Lakbayan, shows my progress.
